A URL is an address where your web page resides on the Web; it stands for, “Unique Resource Locator.”

In the early days of the internet. The term URL was a point of disagreement with the group in charge of creating guidelines for the web, which included Tim Berners-Lee. Tim wanted the name to be URI, which stands for “Universal Resource Identifiers.”

A URL is a valuable asset for your web page. You must create it correctly and make sure it doesn’t change once created. Also, keep in mind that each address is unique; there is only one address per web page on the net.
